Early Learning & Primary Elementary (TK – 2nd Grade)

Developmental Focus: Building social-emotional growth, classroom stamina, fine motor skills, self-regulation, and learning through structured play and guided exploration.

Early Literacy & ELA: Emphasizes foundational reading skills—phonemic awareness, systematic phonics, vocabulary expansion, handwriting, and early sentence structure. Students transition from learning to decode words to understanding story elements and basic text comprehension.

Mathematics: Focuses on concrete mathematical thinking using hands-on manipulatives. Students master counting, number sense, basic addition/subtraction, shapes, measurement, and early word-problem strategies.

Science: Encourages curiosity about the natural world through observational science, simple experiments, and hands-on units covering life cycles, weather patterns, and plant/animal traits.

Religion & Faith Formation: Introduces foundational Catholic faith formation, learning core traditional prayers, exploring Bible stories, understanding the parts of the Mass, and guiding students through sacramental preparation for First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion (grades 1–2).
