Dedicated Learning Resource Teacher

Our Learning Resource Teacher is available as a dedicated campus resource to support all students across grades TK–8. Whether a student needs short-term academic reinforcement, targeted skill-building, enrichment, or tailored classroom strategies, our Learning Resource Teacher collaborates directly with classroom teachers to meet children where they are in their learning journey.


Accommodations & Student Support (STEP)

While Catholic private schools operate under different guidelines than public school systems, we work closely with families of students who have existing IEP or Section 504 documentation. Within the framework of Archdiocese of Los Angeles (ADLA) guidelines, our school offers minor adjustments and classroom accommodations to support diverse learning styles.

To formalize these accommodations, we utilize the ADLA Support Team Education Plan (STEP) process. The STEP program is a collaborative process involving parents, teachers, and school leadership to create a tailored plan outlining classroom accommodations and academic strategies.

In accordance with ADLA policy, public school 504 plans and IEPs do not automatically transfer directly to private schools. The term "minor adjustments" via a STEP plan is the precise language aligned with Section 504 guidelines for non-public Catholic schools.
