Volunteer / Service Hour Requirement
In order to offset tuition costs for all students, families are asked to contribute 30 hours of volunteer* service (per family) throughout the school year. Service hour examples include class activities, field trip chaperones, bake sales and supporting school fundraising events throughout the year. (*On campus volunteers are required by the ADLA to be fingerprinted and VIRTUS trained.)
St. Margaret Mary Alacoque School believes our students benefit from a thriving faith community when school families donate their time through acts of service. The school also understands that their may be times and life situations that can limit how much time families can volunteer. As a result, SMMAS offers pro-rated billing for incomplete service hours and a full buy out option.
