Dear Spartan Families -
We are so happy to have our 8th graders back on campus this week! The Class of 2026 spent 4 days on retreat in the foothills of the Santa Ana Mountains in Orange County. Their days were filled with hiking, prayer, teambuilding, and reflection...with a few s'mores and many laughs along the way! The students even visited a ranch on one of the mornings and helped take care of the animals. Thank you to Dr. Downs and Coach Eron for chaperoning this field experience- your time, patience, and positive energy was greatly appreciated and made all the difference. Thank you to our 8th-grade parents for allowing us to share in these memories with your children. Our Students Have Talent!
The SMMAS Talent Show is scheduled for Friday, April 24th. We are looking forward to seeing the amazing talents of our SMMAS students!
Here is the timeline leading up to the event:
- April 22 - Talent Show Rehearsal (8:30 am - 12:30 pm @ Hegarty Hall)
- April 24 - Talent Show for SMMS classes (10:15 am); Evening presentation @ 6:30 pm for friends, family and the SMMAS community.
Have you sent in your RSVP for the Wild West Casino on May 2nd? Don't delay! Sheriff Raad is looking forward to a great crowd at the Hegarty Hall Saloon. Check the blue folders for a paper copy of the flyer and send it in tomorrow morning. Check out the flyer posted to this page and use Zelle to purchase your tickets.
(Note: We will need to decide to move forward with this event this week.)
The donations are starting to come in for our Casino Night Silent Auction! Pickleball anyone? Or is an Oculus Quest 2 VR headset more your vibe? They will be available in the Silent Auction at the Wild West Casino Night, so you will have a chance to bid on them. Some other items we have received: Photography Session & Digital Photos, Mattel Racing Car Set, Mattel Board Games, Starbucks and Panera gift cards, bottles of wine, and Kentucky Bourbon.

Re-enrollment
for 2026-2027 for current families is officially underway! Securing your child's place in their classroom allows us to better plan for the upcoming year. Please log in to your family Gradelink account and select the "Re-Enroll" tab to update your information and select your tuition plan. To finalize registration, please submit the $75 fee to the office.
NOTE: Use the web-based platform of Gradelink to Re-enroll. Click here to go to the Gradelink website. The School ID is 2311; enter your email and password and you will be good to go!
New for 2026-27:
- Flexible Payment Plans: Choose between a 10-month or 12-month schedule.
- SCRIP Changes: While gift cards will still be available to support the school, SCRIP is no longer a mandatory annual fundraiser.
- Yearbooks Included: To streamline the end of the year, one yearbook per student is now included in the General Fees.

Breaking News: The first day of school for the 2026-2027 will be Wednesday. August 26th, 2026.
