SMMAS Weekly News March 30 - April 2, 2026

Dear Spartan Families -
As we move into Holy Week, it is a time when we put Christ’s love for us at the center of all we do. It is a time for us to truly reflect on Jesus’s life, His Love for us, and the promise of new life. Palm Sunday begins the week in joy, but that joy fades just a few days later, and we remember how Jesus felt betrayed and sad. This is the message we can hold onto...love is strongest when it is hardest to give. As we walk with Jesus this week and the seasons to come, I encourage all our families to choose love when it seems impossible. Offering help and support to new and old friends, forgiving others when our hearts are hurting, reconnecting with family and friends ~ it all matters because it reminds us that there is hope in all moments.
As we prepare for our upcoming holiday, I want to wish all of our school families and students a blessed and peaceful Easter break. May this time be filled with the love of Jesus as you share your faith with those around you.
I would also like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all the families who joined us for our Family Night Out fundraiser at Dave & Buster's last week. It was wonderful to see our community coming together, and we are so grateful for your support, as the proceeds directly benefit our school's sports programs.
